We supply prime quality fully certified steel plate to various OEM’s, fabrication shops, burn/processing shops, and also to other steel service centers. Most orders ship from our extensive stock inventory (Girard, Ohio & Chicago, Illinois) within 24hrs to 48hrs and even same day.

Steel Transloading
Kenilworth Steel is pleased to offer Steel Transloading services at our 950 South State Street, Girard OH. 44420 (Brier Hill) location that can readily handle both inbound and outbound rail & truck shipments. Our Brier Hill warehouse is conveniently located approximately ½ mile off Route 80 (Exit 227) and is located on the same industrial property as the Youngstown Belt Railroad (YBRR) hub/yard. Kenilworth Steel is served by the YBRR (a GWRR Short Line) which interchanges with both CSX & NS in Youngstown, OH. Capabilities include 1 x 10nt over-head crane, 2 x 20nt over-head cranes and 1 x 30nt over-head crane, we can handle/transload most steel related commodities.
Warehousing/Storage
Kenilworth Steel is pleased to offer indoor Steel Warehousing/Storage services at our 950 South State Street, Girard OH. 44420 (Brier Hill). We can readily warehouse/store most steel related products such as (but not limited to) HRC, Wire Rod (in coil), Tubular Products, Beams, Piling, Cold/Hot Finished Bars, etc. Our experience with steel plate, requiring full traceability, gives us a very clear understanding of what ‘full traceability’ means on an item-by-item basis ie. Heat numbers, Plate I.D., Coil I.D., order number, bill of lading number, etc or a combination of these among others. Our computer system can readily provide complete inventory reports (and history) on demand and we can mark, tag & bar code steel items as required by our customers Available Warehouse Space 30,000 to 60,000 sq. ft. of indoor, under-hook (crane) space for storage and transloading services. Please note that warehouse space is subject to availability. Rail Siding (Indoors Under Crane Hook) Our warehouse can accommodate up to 20 railcars on two tracks inside our bays, all under crane hook for efficient loading and unloading.
Customized JIT and Consignment programs
Our JIT & Consignment Program services reduces your company’s need for upfront inventory capital expenditures and warehousing/storage space, enabling your company to allocate financial and production space resources more efficiently. We can maintain your dedicated inventory in our warehouse (or yours), ready for delivery just in time whenever and wherever you need in line with your preferred production schedule. With Kenilworth's JIT Customized Just in Time (JIT) & Consignment Programs, you control what you need and when you need it.
Financing, Credit & Price Index Services
In addition to providing standard open credit terms ½% Net 10 Net 30, we have the ability to offer extended payment terms for certain project business as well as monthly inventory billing (for JIT & Consignment Programs). Kenilworth Steel also has the ability to price steel for longer term agreements and special projects that are tied to a specific commodity index such as for example scrap price index. This type of index price adjusting program/service allows for transparent price changes in response to market fluctuations in the mutually agreed upon and chosen index. Both buyers and sellers reduce the risk of unexpected price increases or decreases sharing the cost burden as market conditions change – transparently and for longer terms. Financing, Credit & Price Index Services are subject approval by our finance department.
Independent Metallurgical Testing Services
In addition to providing Original Mill Test Certificates for every piece of steel plate that you receive from us, when necessary, we also work with OEMs, fabricators, and other steel plate processors to ensure steel plate specifications & quality are verified by ISO-accredited independent 3rd party metallurgical testing laboratories..
Whether the specification refers to ASTM, ASME, AASHTO, MIL, ABS, SGS, CAT, or other, we have the resources to ensure the steel you receive is verified to be compliant with the ordered specification by an unbiased independent metallurgical laboratory, giving you and your company confidence in the steel you receive from Kenilworth Steel.
